Naisang Hostel

A great stop before heading to the islands. The place was spotless, the beer was nice, and the host was lovely. Cute cat called Sticker, too.

The owner was so friendly, and the drinks and snacks in the room were reasonably priced. There’s a craft beer bar, too. The bathroom was a little narrow, though having the sink separate from the toilet was handy. My room was fresh and tidy when I arrived. The sheets, blanket, and towels all looked new, and the air conditioning cooled the room really well. The price was very affordable, and I had a great stay. I’d happily come back.

It’s in a really peaceful area, and the staff are very helpful. You can arrange a motorbike rental with them, and they run shuttles to the airport and port. There are laundry facilities on site, too. Great value for money.

The staff clearly put care into the little details, which made the stay comfortable. They leave two half-liter bottles of water each day, and there are washing machines and a dryer on site. This is more than a hostel, with proper double rooms on a quiet, leafy street. My room opened directly onto the street, which was handy. It had a spacious shower with good shampoo and gel, plus a large clothes rack with hangers. The air conditioner was quiet, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was a large fridge, a good Tefal kettle, and even a hairdryer. Even the teaspoons were nicely made, shaped like little shovels.
