I was there for one night, and the room was comfortable and clean. There was no air conditioning, but it wasn’t hot during my stay. They made us a decent breakfast in the morning. There was also a nearby place with activities for kids and adults, including painting, pottery, and T-shirt dyeing. For the price, I’d say give it a try.
The people were friendly, the rooms roomy, and breakfast was big. Still, I thought it was quite pricey for the area. My room door could only be closed from inside, which was a real hassle when sharing with someone: if they wanted to go out while I was asleep, I had to get up to open and close it for them.
I paid 700 baht for a room and had no hot water, a bad mattress, and an awful breakfast. The place looked disgusting. The owner was really nice, but I was deeply disappointed. This was my worst stay in Thailand!
The room was roomy and lovely, and the price was good. It’s a real homestay, with art throughout, a pretty garden, and a welcoming family.
Dinner and breakfast are included, so the rates feel reasonable. Near the national park, you can get a studio with two double beds and air conditioning for 700, or a small double room with a fan for 500. The host is an artist and will almost certainly show you around his studio. A great place to stay.
