The food was good, and I found the concept interesting enough that I’d try it again. It took me about 45 minutes to drive there, and I thought the trip was worth it. The dining area felt peaceful, with no noise from outside, just the fountain. It’s a nice place to sit for a meal if you want somewhere quiet. The menu is mainly in Chinese, with Thai as the second language, and there’s no English, though you can still manage. The man-made lake didn’t smell, and its small fountain was running. The main fountain in the middle was off or not working when I visited, but that didn’t really spoil things. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and far enough away that there were no smells. Thanks, and see you again sometime.

The room is thoughtfully set up, and after dozens of stays between here and Bangkok, Room 4 had the most comfortable bed I’ve found: huge, soft, and clean. The simple bathroom works well, with a big shower and no curtain, close to the sink and commode. Housekeeping replaces the two bottles of water each day if you leave them outside, and replenishes the small soaps and shampoo packets. There are two soft towels and two floor towels. There’s a kettle, but bring your own tea or coffee. It’s a lovely rural place with modern accommodation and really helpful people. Birds sing in the trees, and the road noise is distant. There’s air conditioning, but I liked opening the screened window and using the manual fan for cool night air instead. A hip coffeehouse, street food, and a general store are only steps away, and it’s nice to support local businesses instead of a corporate 7-11. There isn’t much else within walking distance. I locked my key in the room, but a quick LINE call to Kuhn Art (Mike's lovely son) sorted it out. It’s a woodsy spot, so you might see a gecko or daddy longlegs around. No big deal.

A cheap place to crash. It’s quiet, with virtually nothing to see or do nearby. Being pet-friendly is a plus.

Beautiful and astonishing, with a calm feel.

A nice place.
