Centara Hotel Hat Yai

Centara’s location is why I chose it, and it was good value for money. Check-in and checkout were easy, and every staff member I met was polite. Housekeeping patiently knocked and waited for me to open the door. I used the gym every day. The room lost a star for its dated design, older TV that wasn’t the latest Google TV, and shower pressure that could have been stronger. The air conditioning and lights worked perfectly, and the bedsheet was clean.

We had our company dinner in the hotel hall, and everyone enjoyed the fresh, delicious, well-prepared food. We were travelling as a group for a company trip, and the staff’s hospitality stood out throughout the stay. Everyone was polite, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Thanks to the whole team for the warm care and hospitality.

We stayed five nights at Centara Hotel Hatyai and were happy with our clean, spacious room. The front desk helped with our request for a standing shower instead of a bathtub. At breakfast, Suchada Sukanya kindly made the coffee stronger for us, and we enjoyed the spread. Thanks to her.

There’s a lot to do on foot from this hotel, with markets, cafes and restaurants nearby right in the city center. Centara also has a pool, gym, spa and sauna on the seventh floor. The gym is well equipped and looks out over the pool and city, and the dry sauna was nice for relaxing sore muscles. A few maintenance issues need attention: the shower head just pours water instead of giving a proper spray, the faucet shoots a narrow stream that splashes around, and the central exhaust doesn't seem to work. Still, it’s a good place to stay in town.
