Our favorite moment was sitting on the balcony as the town and valley gradually settled for the night. The views across the valley are uninterrupted and stupendous, and you get a lot for your money here. It’s a little away from the bustle of town, which suited us. The owners were friendly, helpful and attentive to what we needed. Breakfast is simple, but a good start to the day. The shop attached to the resort carries essentials and excellent tea made in Mae Salong. This hidden gem is somewhere we’d love to stay again.

For the price, it would be hard to find a better place. The views were incredible, and our room was clean and spacious. The woman running the place was incredibly nice. She grows her own tea and treated us to a few pots, which we really enjoyed.
