Florida Hotel

The first thing that happened when I arrived was getting bitten by an aedes mosquito. The hotel is already very old, and its facilities haven't been maintained. The toilet wasn't in good condition: after flushing, the bowl splashed water, and I only had cold water for a shower, which was too cold at night. Agoda said a hair dryer and other facilities would be provided, but I searched the whole room and couldn't find one. A very bad stay and poor service. I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, pleasant trip.

The WiFi barely worked, and the bathroom water came out brown until we let it run for a while. The old room facilities were in poor shape, and the fridge was moldy and unusable. From outside, the place looks nearly abandoned, with dim lighting that feels eerie. It might be tolerable for a one-night layover, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby if you're staying for any other reason.

The location is ideal, and the staff were really friendly. We paid 600 THB for a room without booking. The rooms are a bit old, but the AC still works; the walls and bathroom are worn, which was fine for us, though it might not suit someone sensitive to that. You can ask to see a room first if you're unsure. There were mosquitoes sometimes, but when we asked to move, the staff kindly agreed.

The furniture is dated, but the hotel was clean and good for a budget stay. There's parking, Florida night market and a 7-Eleven right across the street, and it was easy to get a tuk-tuk.
