Hi Season Hotel

The rooms were clean and customer service was good. It's a great hotel in a good location, though getting to points of interest takes a 10-15 minute drive. They do require a deposit during the stay, but it isn't very expensive.

We were out most of the time, so this basic room did meet our needs. The air conditioning worked well, and the hotel is fairly close to most night markets and attractions. There's an open car park on the hotel grounds, plus a self-service laundry in a nearby block and a convenience store inside the building facing the main road. There was no iron or room safe, and the safe matters to us. No kettle for making a hot drink either, but there is a hot water machine in the lobby, so bring a flask.

We picked the family room, which had plenty of space to walk around. There's ample parking too. One tip: don't choose a room near the elevator, because early every morning we could hear people talking while they waited for it.

The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The problem was the small cushioned chair: it had bedbugs. My mom sat there for 20 minutes and got 6-7 thick, itchy bite marks. I only touched the cushion briefly with my right leg, but found 4-5 small bites on my knee the next morning.
