Chestnut Hill Eco Resort

The nature around this place feels like a lovely, tucked away spot. I've stayed three times in a year, each time with family, and the service keeps getting better. From the front desk and kitchen to housekeeping, everyone works hard to make sure we're well cared for.

The views are spectacular, with beautiful nature all around, and the food is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, with great hospitality. A lovely hideaway for a retreat, and worth visiting to feel connected with nature.

The waitress was so helpful with directions to the View Point. As we walked away, she even hurried after us just to explain the way. The food was tasty and authentic, especially the Tomyam, pineapple fried rice, and wood fire pizza. It's a quiet, tranquil place with very few tourists and little advertising. We stayed and hung out for a long time. It was the most relaxing spot on our Hatyai trip, though it's a bit far from the main road and you have to drive up a hill. It exceeded our expectations and was a lovely place to unwind.

The food was fresh and delicious, but the cleanliness was a real problem. There was so much dust under the beds and furniture that the floor looked whitish when we arrived. After two days, they said the room had been cleaned, but the floor clearly hadn't been swept or vacuumed. We're not sure the bathroom was cleaned either, and the used towels were left on the floor. The bedding smelled musty. There was no closet to hang our clothes, and the mattress was so thin and uncomfortable that we kept changing positions all night because it hurt. The activity hall floor was dusty too. Even with the good food, we wouldn't stay here again.
