I'm glad I only booked one night. The room was shabby and old throughout, and the experience was bad. I've stayed at plenty of hotels, and this was among the worst. For a room costing under 500 baht, the price felt much too high for the quality.

The first three nights were in a tiny room with no daylight, and the unreliable Wi-Fi and ongoing bad smells made it unacceptable. For the final night I was moved to a bigger room that was otherwise decent, but it was right beside the water pump room. The pump was noisy and started running as early as 8:00 a.m.

The welcome was friendly, and the room worked well for a night or two. It was very clean, spacious and quiet, with a fairly large fridge, clean good-quality sheets, a good shower, free bottled water, and air conditioning that worked well without being too loud. Prices were 500-700 baht, depending on whether you choose a shared cold shower or a private hot one. My only issue was the hard bed, which seems common in Thailand. The twin room seemed to have softer mattresses.
