New Season Square Hotel

The staff made the strongest impression on me. The front desk got us checked in quickly, answered our questions about local attractions, and helped arrange transport. Housekeeping kept the rooms clean while respecting our privacy and schedule, and the bellboys and service team were always smiling and ready to help with luggage. Our rooms were spacious and spotless, and the comfortable king-size bed helped us sleep well. We also had two connecting rooms, which gave our group privacy while making it easy to go between them. The lobby was airy and had several comfortable sofa sets, a nice place to wait for transport or cool down after exploring. I was very happy with our stay at New Season Hotel in Hat Yai. If you're traveling with a group, I'd recommend asking for connecting rooms. I'd gladly stay here again.

I booked through Agoda for 22-25 November, but severe flooding hit early on 22 November. Our driver said the water around the hotel was already up to 80 cm, and hotel staff told him to advise us to cancel the trip. With that situation, I had to ask Agoda for a refund. Agoda later said the hotel was enforcing its refund policy and would not refund me. I also emailed New Season Hotel several times and received no reply. I understand natural disasters can't be avoided, but the lack of response and the way this was handled felt unprofessional and showed little customer care or accountability. I'm truly disappointed, and I hope management will contact me directly to resolve this.

For what it costs, this is a really good hotel. It was very clean, and Lee Garden Plaza was just a stone's throw away. The rooms were large and seemed fairly new. The only annoyance was the Wi-Fi dropping out now and then.

The standard room was okay, and the rest of the stay was good, so this is still one of my favorite hotels. I was given a smoking floor, though the smell was tolerable. The TV only had about seven or eight channels, with just one in English and the rest in Chinese, and none in Thai. On my last night the internet to my room went out and was still disconnected when I checked the next day. That was disappointing.
