I paid for two nights but left on the second day. The bed was good and clean, the room and toilet were clean, and parking for one car was available. It was cheap, there was no deposit, and it seemed quiet, perhaps because it isn't central. The entrance road is narrow and full of potholes, as others have said. The place had a strange atmosphere and didn't feel like a resort. A tattered sofa beside the bed looked unclean. The air conditioner above the bed was noisy and dripped water while I was trying to sleep. There was no hair dryer, the lighting was dim, and the mirrors were oddly positioned. If you're taking a van from Pen Leisure in Padang Besar, be aware they won't drop you at this resort.

I slept very well, which matters most to me. The bed was genuinely comfortable, not hard, and the clean, spacious room seemed well maintained. Private parking right outside the door was handy. It's a good value place, though not fancy. SC Resort is a few miles outside Hat Yai, just off the main road to Songkhla, so it was easy to find and quieter than staying in town. I didn't need service during my stay, so I can't comment on that, but the staff seemed friendly when I checked in. I'd stay again.

The entrance from the main road needs a better path. It's too high and can hit the underside of a car.

The entrance road is in terrible condition, and it badly scratched my side skirt. I wouldn't stay here with a lowered car. A 4x4 or a sedan with higher ground clearance should be fine.

I drove past and it certainly didn't look like a resort should. It's along the big road, and you'll need a car to get anywhere.
