The pool is by the lobby, while our bedroom was at the far end, so it was quite a walk to let a child go there without supervision. The water came up to about my chest, and I'm 1.81 Meters tall. I couldn't tell whether the cafe served halal food because it wasn't stated. Driving out to Hatyai took around 25 minutes. The bed was quite stiff, with only two pillows and no bolster, and they were too soft. I couldn't change the aircond temperature and don't know why. The receptionist clearly didn't know how to speak languages other than Thai.

There were more than 50 mosquitoes in my room. I couldn't work out how they got in because the room was sealed and all the windows were shut tight. This is a dengue concern, and the hotel should take it seriously. I wouldn't recommend staying here just to save a few bucks. It's not cheap compared with a budget hotel.

The room was nice, but the bed had a lot of dirt on it. I don't think it had been washed properly, and the head shower was broken. There were no bottles of mineral water. The route on Google Maps needs improving because the place was hard to find. After calling the receptionist, the taxi had to turn around and take the correct road, which cost extra. I also wouldn't recommend coming without your own car. If your room is far from the lobby, you have to walk and carry your luggage yourself. The hotel should have a buggy or at least a trolley. This just wasn't okay for me 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The setting is peaceful and the scenery is nice, and you can park privately beside your room. But the road is a long way from the main road and, if you're unfamiliar with the area, driving in for the first time can feel like you're heading into the forest. I'd avoid arriving at night if you're driving yourself, so you don't get lost trying to find the place. Staff weren't good at helping: they told me to walk to reception myself to collect an iron that wasn't provided in the room. The rooms are in separate terrace-style buildings, away from reception, and there's no covered rooftop walkway for rainy days.
