The hotel worked well for my first stay before catching a bus to Phuket. The terminal and a halal restaurant are both nearby, and I had no trouble finding the qibla direction for solat. It gets noisy in the evening because it’s so close to the bus station, though things quiet down later at night. The electrical equipment is dated but generally works. I also got a coupon for complimentary morning tea or coffee at Cha Payom, or something like that. A practical little touch.

The reception staff were attentive, and breakfast was included and easy. The room was clean and spacious, though not especially new. It’s a short walk to transport, restaurants, and shopping, and the price is reasonable.

We’re from Canada, and the hotel is right by Bus Terminal 1. The beds were very hard, but the staff were really nice and helpful.

The shower water came out at barely a trickle. The refrigerator was really dirty and smelled bad, and the TV had no signal at all. The receptionist wasn’t friendly and looked moody.

We stayed two nights, and Nadya, Mine, and one of the male receptionists were very helpful. After checkout, they let us leave our luggage in the lobby while we went shopping some more. The hotel is also close to the Asean night market, 7E, and a 24-hour laundry, which made things convenient.
