The location worked well for the markets, with the train station nearby and easy pickup for Koh Lipe. Water was free, there was no deposit, and there were cute cats. It was fairly cheap, but I found better value elsewhere. The room hadn’t been cleaned, cat hair was everywhere, and the bathroom was gross. They asked us to remove our shoes, but the floor was filthy with cat hair, so our feet got dirty. There also didn’t seem to be any security, and anyone could walk in and take your things.

It was a nice stay and the room was clean enough, with complimentary coffee and bread. I’d recommend it if you want a budget-friendly place without giving up the basics.

The whole place felt really unclean. My bed was full of fleas or bed bugs, and random cats even came onto it in the middle of the night. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here alone.

The receptionists were warm and welcoming, and they took good care of guests. They cleaned the bed every day and replaced the blankets with fresh ones, which I really appreciated. It’s a cheap hostel, so it isn’t luxurious, but the basics were acceptable. The place is right in the center and convenient for getting around. Near here is Lee Garden night market, where I tried toddy palm juice for the first time. I highly recommend it for a Hat Yai trip, and I’ll come back on another visit. It deserves it.

The location was great, and the facilities were good for the price. The people working at the hotel and in the spa downstairs were welcoming and friendly. I also enjoyed the mix of guests passing through during the week I stayed. It was a comfortable, enjoyable visit, and I’m looking forward to coming back.
