Raya Resort Cha-Am

We only meant to spend one night here, but ended up staying three. The three of us had a king bed and an extra bed, with enough room to be comfortable. The resort is lovely and well organized, with the pools in the middle facing the beach. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were kind and helpful. We loved it all. Thanks, I highly recommend it.

The setting is quiet, with a lovely atmosphere right by the sea. There are two nice pools opposite each other, and the views are lovely. Kids can use two slides in the shallow pool. Our room was very spacious and could fit two adults and two children, especially if they’re young, though we had booked two rooms. We had an awesome stay.

It’s a lovely resort for swimming and bringing the kids, but breakfast left me unimpressed and the restaurant needs work. Staff were on their phones while working instead of looking after us as we ate, which didn’t feel right. They also need to stock Coke, Coke Zero, and tubs of ice cream. There’s no clothes dryer in the room, so I put our swimwear on a chair, which wasn’t ideal. The sofa bed corner had no cushions, either.

You’re only a few metres from the beach, and there are plenty of bars and market stalls nearby. The hotel sits around a pool in a fairly quiet part of Hua Hin, so it’s peaceful too. Our room was spacious and looked out over the pool. Breakfast was included and didn’t disappoint. It’s reasonably priced and worth the stay, so I’d recommend it.
