Sea Breeze Guesthouse

For the price, I really can’t complain. It’s a good place to sleep and take in the ocean view, with a large room and balcony, plus friendly local staff who seem keen to help. The view right in front of the property is clear and lovely. The drawbacks are an old building and dated rooms, no facilities, and little issues like squeaky doors and a missing floor drain.

We were staying next door, but stopped by for the small beachfront restaurant. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service friendly. It’s a breezy spot that really suits its name, and they were especially lovely with our daughter. There’s massage available too, though we didn’t have time to try it this visit. We’ll come back one day :)

We booked through agoda, but after seeing the room we didn’t want to stay and checked out. It was old and dirty. The place needs repairs and renovation, because it’s in poor condition.

The beach access and sea view are just like at the Regent next door, but this cozy, quiet hotel costs a lot less. Our Grand Deluxe Room was spacious, with a big bathroom and shower, oversized windows facing the water, and a king size wooden sleigh bed. The large balcony was the best part, a lovely place to enjoy the ocean and cool sea breeze. We ate at the Thai restaurant, which has a wide range of Thai dishes, all well cooked and delicious. Sitting by the waves over a romantic seafood dinner was great. David, the owner, was always available and helpful with anything we needed. Hua Hin downtown is about a 15 minute ride away. I’ll definitely return.
