B2 Hua Hin Premier Hotel

I booked well ahead, then had to cancel because of an unexpected personal tragedy. I contacted the hotel twice, more than 10 days before check-in, explained the situation, and still they refused the cancellation without any flexibility or compassion. This left me with a very negative impression, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. Most reputable hotels understand that emergencies happen and show some willingness to help guests in difficult circumstances. That wasn't my experience here. If you're considering this hotel, be aware that its customer service is rigid and unsympathetic.

It's basic but cheap and clean, and very white. Close to Soi 94 if you're into the bar scene. The only downside is that it feels like you're in the middle of a parking lot, which you are. If all you need is a bed, book it.

The location was good, and the hotel itself was basic. The bed was okay, but the pillows weren’t comfortable. There’s no swimming pool, despite what the Google Maps pictures suggest.

The sound carries throughout this fairly new budget hotel. We could hear people walking and shutting doors all the time, so there’s no soundproofing. Parking was alright, and the security guard was helpful. The cleanliness was only just acceptable: the sheets and towels were new, and the floor had been mopped, but there was mold in the bathroom and inside the refrigerator. Definitely not somewhere I’d return to.
