Baan Arpo Pool Villa

We couldn’t find somewhere else in time because the owner only told us after we’d already set off that we’d be put in a different house from Little 4. I’d seen reviews saying this had happened to others and warned my friends, but it happened to us too. The house they gave us was awful to see in person. The photos were from 2021, and the place was extremely dirty, with worn-out furniture, a filthy pool, and cracked floor tiles whose edges had just been taped together. Some lights didn’t work, the front door wouldn’t shut, and both bathroom showers were broken, leaving the floor soaked after every shower. The toiletries weren’t labelled as soap or shampoo, and for four people over three days we got only two large bottles of water. The house next door was abandoned, with forest across the road. Changing a booking like this after departure feels like consumer fraud.

The pictures were nothing like the real place. The old furnishings and appliances were unacceptable, and I don’t know whether the owner or agency had told the owner about their condition. The narrow access road and surroundings made going out at night feel unsuitable, and staying there felt like being in a deserted house. I felt unsafe. The bathroom was leaking on our first night. 😖 EASY TO REVIEW. JUST DISGUSTING. STAY HEALTHY, AVOID!

Getting there by car was difficult, and the GPS didn’t point us accurately. They were quick to ask for payment, but slow to deal with problems, which was frustrating. When we checked in, the staff only mentioned the security deposit. They checked the house equipment without asking us anything, but hadn’t explained how to use it. When we asked, they said, “You should know how to use it already.” Seriously, they just assumed we would! The Wi-Fi, TV and karaoke were all not working on our stay. Staff didn’t fix them until almost 11 PM. I was with family, including elderly people, and by then we were asleep, so there was no chance to sing. The curtains were broken and couldn’t be used. There was no toilet paper, one part of the bed couldn’t be used, and the roof leaked. At least there was hot water. They asked whether the house looked like the pictures. It did, but whether anything worked felt like a gamble. Would I stay again? Absolutely not. I was very unimpressed with the service.

I loved the place! It looked just like the photos, was clean, and every room had air conditioning. It was fully equipped too, with things like shampoo and soap. ❤️
