Baan Coco Pool Villa

I paid 7,470 baht and got a 1,300 baht discount, bringing it to 6,170 baht. Even with the discount, I spent all three nights and four days dealing with the heat. The main problem was the air conditioning: two units were broken, and it took a full day and night to get them fixed. The living room unit by the TV wasn’t working when the house was checked on arrival. The bedroom units barely cooled, especially the master bedroom, and the filters hadn’t been cleaned. The fan was covered in dust. I called a repairman twice, and he cleaned the filter and left. There were other issues too. The shower had very weak water pressure, although the flow was strong elsewhere. All the towels smelled musty, and in the hot weather the broken air conditioning made the stay miserable. The furniture was very old and nowhere near as good as the promotional photos. One of the pool chairs was broken, leaving just one usable chair. The grass outside was long and poorly maintained, and there was grass growing in the pool. The wooden kitchen counter had stickers peeling off it. I also couldn’t get YouTube to play in HD on the computer connected to the TV because its specs were too low. Luckily, I had brought my laptop. This was the best rental I’ve ever had.
