Baan Sandao by Nanni

We had a clean two bedroom unit with two smart TVs, and the pool was a nice place to relax. Walk past it and you're on the beach. The location is central, between the north and south sides, close to amenities, and Market Village has lots of options. The staff were nice, and security at the front and back beach entrances was good. My wife keeps finding good places for us to stay, and Baan Sandao was another one. We spent four nights at the Baan Sandao and would definitely rate it. Thanks, Baan Sandao, it was good staying with you.

Our apartment had everything we needed, and the pool area is amazing, with direct access to the beach.

The location made getting around easy, with Market Village Mall right across the road and night markets and other spots reachable nearby or by taxi. Blue Port felt disappointing, since its top two floors were mostly deserted. There’s plenty of parking, and a friendly security guard was always there. We loved our stay at Baan Sandao. The apartment complex was tidy, the pool was great, and the reception staff were warm and professional. The woman at reception explained everything we needed and was always kind when we asked for help. We stayed in what I think was apartment 401. We weren’t told about any hidden electricity charges, though I assume that depends on the apartment you rent. At high tide the beach is limited, but we knew that ahead of time and found it better than expected. My main gripe was the handful of shaded pool beds, about five. People were putting towels on them as early as 06:30 to claim them. I mentioned a few times that this wasn’t allowed, but staff didn’t step in. If you’re a couple over 60 enjoying a holiday here, please don’t be a towel reserver. It’s really annoying.

The best part was being able to get to the beach, and Village Market is just two minutes away. Our two bedroom condo was quiet, and the site was spotless and looked after well. The pool was great, though there weren’t enough beds.
