Samsha Guest House

It’s peaceful and quiet here, and I really liked the setting. The room had a TV, air conditioning, fridge and water heater, and there’s a pool too, all at a reasonable price. Getting around was the difficult part: it’s quite far out, and aside from Grab there wasn’t much public transport. Even Grab drivers often got lost.

The pool feels tucked away behind all the pots and plants, and the rooms are spacious. We’d stay again, even though there were tiny black ants all over our room. They were harmless, but still not something you want crawling on you while you sleep. The AC also felt undersized and took ages to cool the room. The bed and pillows were okay, and for the money it was still worth it.

You can get Thai dishes or French food here, though the French options seemed a bit overpriced. The guesthouse is quiet and clean, with a small pool, and it’s friendly to both pets and motorcycles. The owner is a friendly French expat.

It’s a cozy spot to hang out by the pool, even if the pool itself is a little small. The owner was really kind and gave us lots of advice about Hua Hin. The guesthouse is around 1-2 km from the main road, and you can borrow bikes for free. Highly recommend it.
