Chocolate Box

We came as a family of five and stayed in two rooms. The modern, minimalist design, with concrete, clean lines and blue water, looks especially good in photos around sunset. By day there's a relaxed beach club feel, with music and a pool bar, though it still works well for families and has a romantic side for couples. The lovely main pool is right by the beachfront, with a wide open ocean view that keeps you feeling close to the sea whether you're swimming or on a lounger. We really enjoyed the beautiful pool area.

The villa was new, nice and clean, and the whole family had plenty of room on the sea-facing terrace and around the private pool. The granite flooring throughout, even on the toilet walls, looks great. All the rooms have rain showers, with some more under the trees, and there's even a sauna. The large living and dining room has well-stocked liquor, beer and drinks, plus a bartender counter. The Samsung TVs are super clear and can be art pieces. Thanks to all the staff for such excellent hospitality.

The manager on duty, Mr. Deaw, was polite and sincerely apologized after my husband asked to speak with him. I appreciated his professionalism, but we were still deeply offended by what happened with the three male staff at the bar. We had reserved by phone before arriving, and my husband had specifically requested a sofa bed for two. A female staff member explained the prices and other details when we arrived, which was all fine. I then chose a seat in the middle area between the restaurant and bar. We waited there around four or five minutes, even though the place wasn't busy, and nobody came to help. Staff were wearing earpieces, so they seemed able to coordinate. I raised my hand to get someone's attention. Instead of coming over, three men at the bar looked at me and laughed. I don't know if they were laughing at me or something else, but it felt extremely impolite and disrespectful. They turned away and kept laughing instead of helping, which offended me very much. Eventually a female staff member assisted us.

Right on the beachfront, with lovely swimming pools and a beautiful hotel. The rooms have a really cool industrial look. Such a good spot for a relaxing getaway, I'd happily come back and recommend it.
