Chiva-Som International Health Resort

I really enjoyed my 4 days at Chiva-som. The wellness program was wonderful, the classes were nice, and the spa was relaxing. My room was beautiful, and the staff provided amazing service with excellent hospitality.

The food at Chiva Som was incredible, fresh and full of flavour, and the chef is a genius. I’ve never loved healthy food this much. Other wellness resorts have served me food that tasted like wood, but here it was wholesome and heavenly. I travel and dine a lot, so that says something. The consultations, therapies, classes, and the resort itself all felt made for me. I was like a student on campus, happily rushing from one session to the next, and felt a burst of energy and life like never before. I’ve been to wellness resorts before, but this felt like a rebirth, like falling in love with life again. I was unsure at first about not being allowed to carry my mobile around, but within five minutes I was on board with disconnecting and being present. You’ll love being present in this little slice of heaven. I’ve never been so sad to leave a place. I’ll be back again and again. Go to Chiva Som, become Chiva Som, and go now for your own good!

This is my tenth visit, which says it all. The beaches are beautiful and the weather is always lovely. No kids are allowed, as it’s a health farm.

I always want to stay longer and never get bored here. You can come for a few days or several weeks, and the longer the better. My physical and mental health changed over 2 years. At 58, I feel better than I did at 48. The stretch treatments from the thrvgym staff are incredible, much better than a physio in Europe, and the physio department is very competent too. The service is wonderful, and returning feels like coming home. The staff are great, and some of the best health practitioners in the world work here or visit as therapists. The foundation also does wonderful charitable work. I’m sure I’ve left out plenty of good things. They call it the Haven of life. It’s been in wellness for 3 generations and still sets the example that new wellness spas try to follow. They’ve been leaders in the field and have been voted best Spa in world by Condé Nest multiple times. The food, much of it grown on their own farm, is in my opinion the most delicious healthy food in the world. The spa facilities were renovated just before COVID and are incredible. There are more treatment rooms than guest rooms.
