The hotel is good value for a comfortable stay, though it felt a bit empty when I was there in Jan 2026, with no atmosphere and no breakfast available. The seafront is a lovely place to walk and watch the sun rise over the ocean. It's in a quiet part of Prachuap Khiri Khan, between the main town and the Reclining Buddha Cave, which is a must visit. Take care around the monkeys when walking or cycling toward town. Most rooms have sea and canal views from the third and fourth floors, with big windows, spacious rooms and small en suites. Mopeds can be rented through the hotel. A few restaurants, massage places and a 7-Eleven are within a five-minute walk.

The rooms are comfortable and practical, with gentle colors, natural materials and thoughtful amenities. Some look out over the sea or gardens, and ocean breezes and waves make for peaceful mornings. I loved the view and had an easy, great run along the beach right outside the hotel. The beach is just in front, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby. Walking Street is about ten minutes away on foot. My room was spacious and comfortable. Shower pressure was quite low, but for the price and location, everything else was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the reasonably priced Golden Beach Hotel. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was great, especially the Thai fried eggs and choice of coffees. Our spotless, spacious rooms looked out over beautiful natural views of the sea, river and mighty mountains. Bravo to an almost perfect hotel. We'll be back.
