The location’s convenient, with the market nearby and everything from 7 eleven to scooter rental and massage services close at hand. Staff are very friendly. The place is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and I enjoyed swimming in the rooftop pool. Recommended.

The staff are very polite and the location is nice, but I won’t rent a motorbike from them again if I come back. They gave us a scooter with a flat tire, which we luckily noticed before setting off. Later, while I was turning, the rear tire burst. We could have had an accident earlier with that same scooter. Luckily we were close enough to the hotel that I could push it all the way back. The hotel wouldn’t extend the rental, even though it took them an hour to get it repaired, and even after all the trouble. Other issues with their scooter rentals came up afterward too.

Good value, with a nice room and a comfortable bed. It’s close to everything and has a rooftop pool, though the glass barriers around the pool weren’t clean.

The location is hard to beat. In about 10 minutes on foot you can reach the beach, cocktail spots, eateries, shops, money exchange, and both night and day markets. Market Village is around a half-hour walk via the beach or street, and the Bangkok bus station is a 10-minute ride away. For a 41-room hotel, it’s terrific value. Reception is friendly and speaks English. The cleaning staff bring water bottles daily and do a meticulous job. There’s complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits at reception in the mornings. Rooms have traditional Thai decor, and the good-sized bathtub is handy after a massage. There’s also a rooftop pool with ocean and mountain views.
