Hataara Hua Hin

This stay was well below what we expected, especially if hygiene matters to you. When we arrived, the sheets and pillowcases had yellow and black spots. Luckily we noticed and asked for them to be changed. If you book here, I strongly recommend checking the room when you arrive. There was black mold in the shower, and no hand soap by the toilet sink. We asked for some but couldn’t get any. We had booked breakfast, but every day it was just rice broth with cheap meatballs and bad instant coffee to make yourself. We asked for fruit or anything else and were told we’d have to pay, despite breakfast already being paid for and included in the reservation. It’s especially poor for vegetarians. Such a pity in a country with so much delicious food and fresh fruit. If you do decide to book, check the bedroom’s cleanliness and be clear on what breakfast includes. It may be better to eat outside.

We had a good night here. The place is clean and simply decorated, with a view of the railway and passing trains. Breakfast was porridge with meatballs, simple and not too heavy to start the day. Just a heads-up, there’s no hair dryer :)

A spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, TV, fridge, work table, and open cabinet. The room was clean, the shared areas were lovely, and the price was very good. It’s on canal road, with a large parking lot and an easy drive into town.

The room is comfortable and affordable. The air conditioner is noisy, though, and could use improvement.
