Lotus Suite Hua Hin

There’s parking, and much of it is covered. My first-floor room overlooked an airway. It was okay and reasonably clean, but overpriced. The owner or manager, I’m not sure which, was rather unpleasant.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet, which was great for getting a good night’s sleep. It’s easy to walk to everything you need, including a 7/11, otteri laundromat, bars, and restaurants. The place is well managed, with spacious, clean rooms, and everything worked well, including the air conditioning and shower. Excellent place.

The rooms are clean and roomy enough, and there’s free coffee at the coffee bar in the lobby. It’s close to the Soi 88 - 94 area, where you’ll find loads of restaurants and street food, as well as an incredible number of bars, too many for my taste. Renting a motorbike is the best option. It works for a short Hua Hin trip or as a rental for a longer stay.

I booked Lotus Suite Hua Hin through Agoda and Agoda confirmed the reservation, but when we arrived they had no room available. They apologized and offered to find another hotel. We needed somewhere for the night, so we accepted, only to find the replacement nearby cost almost 50% more than the place we had booked. It felt like we’d been scammed, so we made our own arrangements. The whole thing reminded me of a setup in Bangkok where a tuk-tuk driver says your destination is closed and offers to take you somewhere else instead. Think twice before booking with Lotus Suite Hua Hin. I took a photo of the person during the awful ordeal.
