The biggest problem for us was the location. Itz Time Hua Hin feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Step outside and there’s very little nearby within 500 meters beyond a road: no shops, restaurants, convenience stores or useful infrastructure. Anyone considering living here would need their own transportation for practically everything. Getting groceries or a coffee becomes a planned trip instead of a quick walk. That might suit people who value quiet above all else, but for most renters the lack of nearby amenities would affect everyday life. We visited while looking at rental options in the Hua Hin area. The concept is interesting, the project seems thoughtfully planned, and the units looked decent enough on paper. It’s a shame, because the same idea could work well in a better location. Real estate depends so much on location, and it’s hard to justify choosing a nice-looking property when the surrounding area offers so little, especially with plenty of Hua Hin alternatives offering a similar or better living experience and things within reach. Two stars for a concept with potential, but the isolated location makes it hard to recommend as a practical place to live.

My family and dog enjoyed our stay, and the rooms are spacious and clean with a nice pool. This was my second visit with my dog, and I’ve had a good experience both times. The staff are polite, friendly, and very helpful. I noticed some touch-ups and renovation work, such as in the bathroom, while Cross Hotels handles the management. They offer turndown service at other Cross hotels, and I hope they add it here too. The amenities could use improvement: they only had a shower cap, shower gel, shampoo, cotton buds, and a sanitary bag. For a five-star hotel, I expected things like a toothbrush set, shaving items, and a comb.

It’s in the suburbs, but Bluport and Market Village shopping malls are only about a 10-15 minute drive away. The villa was cozy and peaceful, a great place to get away. There are around 20 villas in the resort, with a guard at the gate at night. There isn’t a gym or much else in the way of amenities, but the private pool was enough to keep us happy for a day. The staff were friendly and helpful.
