Kochira

To put it nicely, 520 Baht was expensive for my standards, and the coffee tasted like it came from a push button machine. The staff were lovely, but we left the food and declined to eat it. We left the coffee too. Compliments to the cook, we didn’t bother asking for a refund and just left. Lesson learned.

Pet friendly, which mattered most to us. Kasetsart animal hospital is a five minute drive away. The staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We’ll visit again, thanks so much! A great little hotel with just 28 rooms around the pools, big and nicely decorated rooms, and a perfect location in takiab area. There’s a 7Eleven across the street and some restaurants nearby, and it’s close to the beach.

The room was a good size and the staff were good, but the aircon was very noisy and the bed was hard. The hotel needs some maintenance, especially the decking around the pool, which needs replacing. There was no kettle or coffee and tea in the room, so we had to go to reception for hot water. We ended up buying a kettle while we were there.

The cafe was lovely, with thoughtful decor and friendly service. The iced cappuccino was great value for its quality, and we’d happily return. We also had a look at the pool and grounds, which seemed really well kept. Looks like a great place to stay.
