Limelight Guest House and Pub

The service was awful, and the owner was very rude. The door had a visible 'Toilet' sign facing the street, with nothing saying it was for customers only or that a fee applied. I was surprised when they started shouting as soon as I went in. I planned to get a beer and play pool at the bar right after, but the owner banged on the restroom door and yelled at me to get out before I could. I've never had service like that in a public place.

It's a nice little Scottish bar with some nice staff. The downside was a picture of Rod Stewart, an Englishman who thinks he's Scottish and supports a team that insists on being plastic paddies. And around the picture was a smelly Celtic FC scarf 🤮.

It's a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy a drink. I think it's the only bar around where I haven't been harassed by retired Pattaya bar girls.

The Limelight had a friendly feel, and I’d go back. The servers were attentive and kind. I ordered red wine and, since I hadn’t eaten but only wanted a small bite, chicken satays. They were excellent, cooked through without being overdone or undercooked like chicken I’ve had at other pubs, and came with a good peanut dipping sauce.
