We came back hoping to repeat a wonderful stay from years ago, when we had a huge room with a terrace and jacuzzi. With our wedding anniversary coming up, I specifically booked and prepaid a Junior Suite at the Marrakesh. I remember the room being so spacious that our whole current apartment could probably fit inside. But on arrival, we were told the Junior Suite wasn’t available and were put in a much smaller room. Nobody had told us beforehand, which made the disappointment worse. When guests pay in advance for a specific room type, they expect to receive it, or at least to hear clearly about a change before they arrive. If getting the exact room you paid for at the Marrakesh matters to you, it may be worth checking with the hotel before your trip.

The pool is the one thing I’d criticize. For a hotel this size, it deserves a bigger one. There’s a nearby vacation apartment complex with huge pools that also belongs to the Marrakech complex, but hotel guests can’t use them. A pool arrangement between the two parts would make the place close to perfect. The rest is lovely: a quiet beach away from the city bustle, and BLU, one of Hua Hin’s main shopping and entertainment centers, is nearby. The team is always smiling and ready to help with anything. Breakfast is outstanding, and the bar-restaurant has excellent drinks and food. A highly recommended, distinctive hotel-resort.

Beautiful Hua Hin beach is my backyard now, and I love living here. It took me a while to find a one-bedroom apartment that matched my timing, but I’m in it now after deciding on the spot, when I first saw this magnificent place in July 2025, that I wanted to live here when I moved to Thailand permanently in January 2026. No exaggeration! The hotel is on one side and the residences are across from it, with beautiful pools stretching down the middle toward the beach. ❤️🙏

The employees were all really friendly, and breakfast was a full 10, fresh with lots of choices. The hotel has a lovely Moroccan style, and the rooms are spacious. I loved having the whirlpool on the balcony. Bathroom lighting is minimal, but acceptable.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach and fairly quiet, with a shopping mall, night market, and plenty more within walking distance. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast has a wide range of Western and Thai choices, though the Thai food is usually better. The pool and surrounding area are nice but small, so finding a sunbed could be difficult when the hotel is busy. I’ve stayed a couple of times, in both a jacuzzi room and a fountain pool room. The outdoor areas are really nice, though watch out for mosquitoes. Inside, the rooms are good but not great. The bathrooms are spacious but dim, especially around the toilet, and I found the shower hard to adjust, either cold or scalding. The bedroom is fine and a little small, but the bed is comfortable. There is a gym, but it’s tiny, with just a few cardio machines. A bit disappointing for a five-star hotel.
