Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

The hotel has a lovely feel and made me feel at home straight away. The food was fresh, varied, delicious, and full of local flavours. Everyone was kind, helpful, and smiling. Joey, the Guest Relations Manager, was especially polite and ready to help, and General Manager Paul looked after guests with real dedication and heart. Gib, our waitress, was such a warm, wonderful person 🤍. People like them make this place special. I'll definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

What stood out most was the peaceful beachfront setting. The hotel is away from the city noise, so it feels private and calm, yet close enough to Hua Hin center for an evening walk or shopping. You can reach the beach at low tide when the sea is calm. The resort's tropical gardens and Thai-style design create a relaxing atmosphere. There are well-kept pools, including a large one overlooking the sea, plus quieter spots to unwind. The sandy beach access, pools, spa, fitness center, and gardens all add to the resort's luxurious feel. Poolside activities and the friendly atmosphere were nice touches too. My room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed. After a sunny day, it was lovely to come back to the comfortable bed, air conditioning, and tropical views from the windows. The restaurant offered tasty Thai and international food. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and dinner overlooking the ocean was a pleasure. Staff were polite, attentive, and keen to make guests comfortable. This was one of the best hotel stays of my trip to Thailand. Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin combines comfort, good service, and a distinctive location. I'd recommend it for a romantic break or a family holiday if you're after a luxurious tropical place to relax.

We really enjoyed the privacy and room in our suite with its own pool, and the restaurant was great across the different dining options. The resort itself is beautiful and quiet, with lovely staff. Noey at the front desk was especially kind and helpful: when our room's AC had a problem, she arranged another room and checked in several times to make sure we were doing well. There are gorgeous grounds, but not many pleasant places to walk beyond the resort. The location is a short drive from downtown and the night market, with a free shuttle running three times a day. We spent a week here and enjoyed the pools, yoga and other guest activities, plus the daily chocolate buffet with its chocolate fountain 😄. It would've been handy to have water bottle filling stations in a couple of spots around the hotel. I'd recommend this peaceful oceanfront resort. We spent 10 wonderful days here. The rooms were lovely: first we stayed near the emerald pool, with a nice-sized room, small terrace, and just a few steps to the water. For the rest of the trip we moved to a bungalow, which was a treat, with its own little pool, sun loungers, and lovely shade. Sitting there watching butterflies, birds, bees, and other insects moving among the flowers felt like being in a charming oasis. The pools are gorgeous, one tucked into tranquil gardens and the main one overlooking the sea. There's no beach, but hearing the waves was lovely. The hotel and spa are about a 10-minute taxi or Bolt ride from the central old part of Hua Hin. We had bed and breakfast, and breakfast had a delicious selection of hot and cold dishes from around the world, with something for all nationalities. The restaurant overlooks the pool and sea, making it a lovely start to the day. Staff were superb and always had a smile. Special mention to Joey for good tips and conversation.
