Finding a decent budget place in Sukhothai took us about an hour. Most options were either cheap and REALLY basic or above our 500 Baht limit. Then we found Relax Resort: simple, clean bungalows in a quiet spot near the bypass and historical park.

For 400 baht, it's perfect: a private bungalow with covered parking right beside the room. The caretaker was very helpful, and the room was clean, with very cool air conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, and hot water. I'll definitely stay here again.

I really liked how cool and comfortable the atmosphere was here. The staff were polite, friendly, and gave excellent service. It costs 400 baht for a private bungalow with both air conditioning and a fan in the room. Free coffee and Ovaltine are provided in the morning.
