Free bikes and the historical park nearby made getting around easy, and breakfast was generous, fresh, and delicious, with good coffee. We stayed in a family villa with a bathtub. There are also regular rooms. Our villa had a little patio underneath, a nice spot to unwind, though bring mosquito spray. It’s a quiet, green place in the middle of Sukhothai city. You hear birds in the morning and frogs at night. The staff were some of the kindest I’ve met during my life in Thailand. They really look after guests, even leaving the air conditioning on while you’re out so you return to a cool room. I can’t remember another hotel in Thailand doing that, since usually they ask you to switch it off. We visited on weekdays in October, when the hotel wasn’t full. In the evening they lit the areas by and beneath the villas, including the patios of empty ones, which made everything feel warm and cozy, like you weren’t alone. These little touches stand out if you’ve stayed in Thai hotels a lot. If something’s wrong, ask the staff and they’ll do their best. Don’t post the negative here or elsewhere. I highly recommend the place and sincerely wish it great success. 💚

After a day among the temples, the pool was a lovely way to unwind. The bungalow was roomy and nicely decorated, and with fewer than ten of them, the place felt intimate and restful. Breakfast was generous and delicious too. A beautiful, peaceful retreat in old Sukhothai, highly recommended.

We had to leave early for our flight, and they kindly arranged breakfast ahead of time. They change the breakfast each day, so we got to try traditional Thai food and fruit, plus some nice desserts. The room was clean, spacious, bright from all the windows facing the pool, and had air conditioning. After exploring the historical city, it was a peaceful place to cool off and relax. The pool was especially welcome in the heat.
