My Resort Hua Hin A304

My wife and our two daughters stayed in unit D411 and were very happy there. Once we cleared up a little confusion about which room was ours, we found it sparkling clean, with nice nautical decor and toys for the kids. The pool view was fantastic. The pools do need maintenance, but the kids still had a great time in them every day. You can also show your key at the sister resort on the beach and use its restaurant, pool, and beach, which is a big plus. There’s a convenience store right across the street, where we met some friendly dogs. Cicada and tamarind market are just a few minutes’ walk away and well worth visiting. I’d highly recommend this place for kids under 10.

This feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel, and the beach is an easy five-minute walk away. Our apartment had two bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen with cooking facilities, and a kids’ play area. The complex has about five or six different pools, including a great kids’ pool with slides, fountains, and other water play. There’s also an indoor playroom, table tennis, and a gym. A good option for a family stay. Try the Thai food at the back of the complex!

The rooms have a relaxing layout that works well for a family holiday, and the water park is wonderful. It’s also easy to walk to the beachfront.

The only good thing was the kids’ pool. Our Airbnb was rundown and clearly hadn’t been maintained: there was mold in the toilet, dust in the room, damaged flooring, a stained sofa, and cutlery in poor condition. My child is allergic to dust and developed rashes during the stay. When I complained to the host, the cleaner came with just a cloth and mop to wipe away the dust and sand. If you can, look for a better host in the area.
