No9 was peaceful, and the customer service was wonderful. It's very remote and quiet. We'll definitely come back.

The toilet behind the meeting room is tiny, and the place is hard to find. It's also quite far out, with almost nothing around.

Getting around is a major problem here if you don't have your own vehicle. The property is so remote that finding transport can be extremely difficult. Staff can't communicate in English, and even translation apps don't make it easy. The person in charge doesn't reply to official messages. I never felt safe during my stay. The door is extremely flimsy, and even locked from inside, it looks like someone determined could force it open. The place feels more like a temporary horror movie set than a hotel, with virtually nothing nearby. There are no windows in the room, so proper ventilation isn't possible. If you open the door, insects come in. The bathroom has no exhaust fan and feels completely enclosed. Shower pressure is about 20% of what I'd expect at an average hotel, so showers take far too long, though the drain works well. A large glass wall is the only thing that gives the room a sense of openness, but I couldn't open the curtains because the bedroom in the opposite room is directly visible from only about 15 yards away. Even on the ground floor, the room felt like a basement. There's no secondary lighting either, so turning off the main light leaves it completely dark. Using my phone in bed attracted insects. I turned the light back on to deal with them and spotted a small cockroach on the ceiling. I didn't feel confident catching it, so I had to sleep in the same room with it. The building looks like it's made of solid red brick from outside, but it's actually thin tile cladding printed with a brick pattern. Given the location, it seems very vulnerable to insects and pests. I've stayed in about 20 hotels a year and spend around 100 nights in hotels annually for my job. This is the first hotel review I've ever written.

A lovely clean place with excellent service from the owner. It's ideal for a quiet, relaxing break surrounded by nature. Come enjoy the fresh air! Five stars from me.
