The people here made the biggest difference. Notto, Don, Ally, Neng, Eye, Oil, Aom, and Vee greeted us warmly and were always ready to help. Don sorted dinner bookings, tuk-tuk rides, and a spa appointment for all seven of us, then fixed our hot shower issue quickly. I'm very grateful. We rode more than 700 km through traffic to reach this boutique resort, and it was worth it. The real place is at least as striking as the photos, with tasteful décor, whitewashed walls, a bright blue pool, and clear skies. It has understated Santorini charm and is a dream for Instagram. Our pool-view room had the comfiest bedding, fluffy thick towels, and lovely décor. The complimentary minibar and beach bag with a towel, flip-flops, and straw mat were thoughtful extras. We looked forward to breakfast at the little cafe each morning. The choices were modest, but fresh and regularly replenished. The barista-made premium coffee, from lattes to mochas and cappuccinos, was the best I've had so far. One memory I'll keep is sitting by the cafe as soft morning light fell across the walls. Resort de Paskani is high on my favorites list, and I'd return in a heartbeat.

We had a tasty meal at the restaurant, and the bathroom was great. The place feels stylish and cute, almost like stepping into another world with its Cyprus and Greece atmosphere. Staff were pleasant, from the warm welcome to the careful upkeep and the friendly “hope to see u again” at checkout. The location is perfect: ten steps and you're looking at the sea.

This is a small, photogenic boutique hotel with just a handful of staff, so it feels peaceful compared with a big chain. Our room was tastefully furnished with the basics, plus robes and proper slippers for stepping out to the pool just beyond the balcony. We chose it to be right by the beach, but the waves were too strong during the day. At night, though, a little shed about 30 metres away sells beer, and sitting by the beach with a drink was heavenly. Getting in by car can be awkward: our large SUV barely made it through the narrow alley and car park, and two cars can't pass if one is coming the other way. We also tried to extend our Hua Hin stay by a day. The staff kept sending us back to Agoda, even though Agoda said it was fine if the hotel had a room. We ended up extending elsewhere.

The service was truly excellent. Staff were kind, polite, spoke well, and acted quickly when I realized I'd left something in my room after checkout. One of them called right away to let me know and arrange collection, which I really appreciated. My room was lovely, clean, and charming, but the sound travelled everywhere. I was in Building 2 near the bar, and could hear both bar noise and a guest's dog barking late into the evening. There weren't many guests while I was there, which helped. With more people, it might have been unbearable, and the hotel should address the lack of soundproofing.
