Sailom Hotel Hua Hin

The views are amazing, and the hotel is right on the beach with easy waterfront walks. Breakfast was decent. I'll come back when I'm in hui hin.

We had a great time at the restaurant and around the pool, and enjoyed lying on the beach with wine from the bar. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and seemed ready for new guests. At reception we were greeted politely and assigned room 201, but technicians were fixing it, so we were moved to 215. That room matched the pictures of the one I'd ordered, which was a little strange. So, did we get the room we wanted? Hm.

We spent four wonderful nights at Sailom Hotel. The beach access was great, and when the tide allowed, they set up free loungers for hotel guests. There are two pools, one with a bar and one quieter pool that I preferred. Our room window had a fly screen, so we could leave it open for the sea breeze overnight, and the hotel had good ventilation and lots of lovely open spaces. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The staff were so nice and helpful, even arranging a last-minute birthday cake. We chose breakfast and enjoyed the buffet each morning, with both Western and Thai options. On our last day, they arranged takeaway breakfast because we had to leave very early. I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the staff for making the stay so lovely.

The staff were friendly and cheerful, as I've found in Thailand. The premises were clean, and for me, having everything close by is a big plus. I hate walking too much in the heat. There are two swimming pools, and it's 100 meters to the beach, which is only that far because the rooms and restaurants stretch along the property. A very large shopping mall is 150 metres across the road.
