Sofia is very close to the excellent night market, and some rooms even have great sea views. The hotel is really good value, laid back, and close to Hua Hin beach and the main part of town. Staff are friendly, and there are food options both at the hotel and nearby. Hua Hin has a scene of its own, which isn’t all family friendly, but people in Thailand are kind, trustworthy, and friendly. There’s a large community of retired European and Ozzy expats here, and you can see that reflected in the town’s food options.

Staff were really nice. The hotel is in the city centre, but the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a nice balcony.

The garden has a lovely view, with rabbits and a pond where water tortoises live. Staff and chefs made delicious food, and every time we left the room it was cleaned. Good customer service. I’d stay at this hotel again when I visit Hua Hin.

A terrible place, more like a hostel than a hotel. I was on the second floor, and there’s no elevator. It felt sketchy at night.

A very hard-working Thai lady runs this hotel, and it’s great value for money. The beach is an 8-minute walk, and Village Market is about 30 minutes on foot. Walking is a good way to keep fit and lose weight. A different lady runs breakfast. It’s clean and tasty, but the portions are small. Apparently they haven’t heard of a full English breakfast.
