The location is handy for essential shops, massages, cafes, small restaurants, and some bars. It was never noisy at night, though it isn’t central, so we took tuk-tuks and taxis into central Hua Hin. It seems ideal for a family that doesn’t go out late. The receptionist was very helpful arranging taxis and tuk-tuks, and also helped us get laundry done for a small cost. We rented two rooms. One was problem-free, while the other had minor shower water and air-conditioning issues. The local handyman fixed both within minutes. Rooms were clean, and could be cleaned daily if requested. The bathroom looked a little dated, and the balcony was fine, but faced nothing in particular so we didn’t use it for the view. The pool was nice and clean, with sun in the pool area from 11am to 17pm. Overall, we had a great stay and would return.

The rooms are nice and big, and the hotel is OK, but the local beach was dirty and it’s a long hike to get anywhere. I made a mistake booking here.

The location and price were the best parts. The bed was extremely hard, the furniture very basic, and there were no toiletries. The toilet paper was the worst I’ve ever used. The pool feature that looked like a waterfall in the picture now has two plastic pipes. My wife nearly died when the lift suddenly closed its doors before we got in and started going down. She had to jump out. After that the lift was out of order, and all we got was an apology. This could have had a better score if it weren’t for the fact that my wife could have died. Anyway, I wouldn’t rate it above three.
