The condo itself was spacious and mostly as expected, with comfortable layout and working air conditioning. One bedroom mattress had a deep dip that made sleeping uncomfortable and seemed overdue for replacement. The bigger issue was the resort’s condition. The grounds could be beautiful, but maintenance seemed reactive, and the property felt quite run down. The beachfront pool was cloudy during my stay. There was no permanent filtration system; a portable filter was brought over and connected by an extension cord across the sidewalk, which looked like a trip hazard and didn’t reassure me about water quality or upkeep. Some villa pools and the central lagoon or pond were green, raising concerns for me about mosquitoes and stagnant water. The gym was usable, but its air conditioner dripped onto the floor and had been switched off, leaving it hot and uncomfortable. Seating around the property was scarce and worn. Many chairs looked like they’d been there since the property opened and were falling apart. To get a lounger near the beach platform, I often had to move one from somewhere else myself. As for the “beachfront,” at high tide there’s essentially no beach. The online photos show wide sandy areas with swings and loungers, but that isn’t what you’ll see most of the time, and the photos seem outdated. The unit was acceptable, but I wouldn’t stay again given the visible deterioration and inconsistent maintenance. If you’re thinking of booking, I’d check recent guest photos and ask specific questions about current pool conditions and amenities first.
