The Hideaway Resort

It's a quiet, relaxed hotel with a beach nearby, though it's quite far from Hua Hin's main area. Renting a motorcycle makes the distance manageable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and despite some wear and a few ants, the room is still nice and the hotel is good and worth a stay. The room and pool both show their age, with missing pool tiles and a poor ladder. There were lots of ants, so don't leave food out. The hotel probably needs a major renovation soon.

The pool is great and it's a very nice place. It's just too far from the activity.

It's a good place if you want peace and quiet and a chance to relax. There's not much nearby, though the sea is close, so you'll need to rent a bike, which the hotel can help with. The room is very nice and the staff are kind and helpful. The pool is okay, kind of nice, but a little old. If you're after restaurants and nightlife, this isn't the place for you.

We found the location convenient for getting around, and the place felt tucked away, just as the name suggests. It's quiet, with few people and no noise. It gets dark at night, but we were fine taking Grab or taxis. The room and bed were comfortable, with a good view. The pool looked lovely in the sunshine and in photos, though we didn't feel like swimming. They pump and change the pool water at night, which seemed okay. The lobby has no air conditioning, and there can be mosquitoes. We stayed in the room with the balcony door and room door closed, and weren't bitten during our three days. Best of all was the service. On the second day, I got my period and we needed pads. Without hesitation, the two guys in the lobby got a key and drove us to a nearby convenience store. They also gave us extra water for free when we asked, so please don't take advantage of that. Really good service, and I recommend them for it.
