The Kaset, Hua Hin

We spent all three weeks of our Hua Hin vacation here and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and spacious, with balconies, and the pool was nice. The food was tasty, and the employees were friendly and helpful. It’s close to downtown without being right in it, and it wasn’t noisy at night. I think it’s a perfect place for families.

The resort is beautiful, with a large lake in the middle that most rooms overlook, as well as several pools. There’s free breakfast, and since it’s a little way from the beach, it feels like a break from the crowds. The guest services staff were very helpful and greeted us with warm, kind smiles. The rooms we were shown were a letdown. We’d booked a double bed and got upgraded to a pool access room, but it smelled terrible and was extremely humid. We also checked the room we’d originally booked, on the pet side of the hotel. That would have been fine if it had been clean, but the floor was sticky and stained all over. The suite we looked at was very dusty, like nobody stayed there. People were staying at the resort and enjoying the pool, so maybe some rooms are okay, but the ones we saw really weren’t.

The restaurant staff were attentive, and the housekeeping team were polite and kind. The receptionists were lovely too and took great care of everything. Everything felt so luxurious. I really hope I can come back! 🌟

We stayed for two weeks and could easily have lived here permanently. For the price, this has been the best value stay of my life. The pool was one of the best maintained I’ve ever seen, crystal clear and refreshing, with slightly salty water and no chlorine. The restaurant food is underrated in my opinion: everything I tried was really good, and room service worked well. Breakfast was nice, with eggs made for you, though the bread selection could be much better. Our king room had a comfy bed, pillows, blanket, and mattress, plus a spacious terrace looking out over greenery. The gym is solid, though small. The huge garden grounds could use an uplift, but for this price, the place is more than epic.
