The Precious

The reception staff and cleaners were rude. There’s a construction site across from the apartments, with work every day from early morning until late at night. Kids have swimming lessons in the private pool every weekend, so it feels like a public pool. We’ll never stay here again.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and The Precious is in a nice spot near plenty of places to eat and other attractions. The rooms are spacious, and the gym is clean and very nice. The pool is a good place to relax and get to know your neighbors.

This was my fourth stay at The Precious in two years, and it’s been the same each time: lovely, friendly staff and big, clean rooms. The location works well for me, with 7/11, restaurants, bars, and laundry close to the hotel. I recommend it wholeheartedly and will stay there again next time I’m in town.

I spent ten nights at The Precious in December and couldn’t fault the stay. The room was huge, spotless, and serviced every day. Two bottles of water were left daily, and the bedding and towels were changed each day. It had a sofa, fridge, and TV with plenty of channels, including sports, so I could watch live games from the UK. The Wi-Fi in the room was very fast. Most of the sockets and switches still had their polythene covers, so I think I may have been the first guest to use the room. Outside, there’s a great pool with beds, umbrellas, and trees for shade, plus a shower and WC. The apartments are quite a way from central Hua Hin’s beach and bars, though a motorbike taxi stand is right out front. Walking takes around 15-20 minutes. There are plenty of little bars and places to eat nearby. Try Mona Sport bar and the Reggae bar close by. Turning left as you leave and taking the side road leads to Soi 94 and all it has to offer. Soi 88 has laundry services, a Family Mart, and 7/11. There’s also a small water park with slides that young children should enjoy. Near the top of the Soi, before you cross the railway, there’s a night market with lots of food and drink stalls and a Thai band playing each evening. If you want somewhere outside the centre with enough to do nearby, you’ll enjoy The Precious. I’ll certainly stay there again.
