The Sea - Cret Hua Hin

The pool and poolside rooms are both lovely, and the staff are excellent. Breakfast is only okay for Europeans: the fried potatoes and bacon were cold, while the eggs and omelette were cooked hot. The dining area also gets very uncomfortable in the heat under its plastic covering. They need to replace it.

The air conditioning was really noisy, so we turned it off at night. Luckily, it didn’t get too hot and we were okay. Our room had direct pool access, and the hotel is right by the beach. The staff were lovely and the service was perfect 👌

The hotel itself, its rooms, and the pool were great, with a pleasant atmosphere. We ate there a few times and the food and service were very good, and the staff were lovely. It sits between two large food and clothing stores, with only a few restaurants and not many other shops nearby. I wasn’t keen on the pink beach café: the bungalow look felt cheap, and the color didn’t work for me. The entrance to reception, under a garage, also isn’t very welcoming when you arrive by taxi. Once you’re inside, though, the hotel area is very nice.

The beach café is a lovely spot to unwind, right on the sand with a fantastic view of the whole beach and sea. Our room opened straight onto the pool, and the hotel was clean and well cared for. Although it’s on the main road, the rooms are at the back and very quiet. The front is just parking and reception. Staff were friendly, discreet, and attentive. We had a wonderful stay, thank you.
