The Standard Hua Hin

The flight cancellation caused by the Middle East conflict made our trip home very difficult. I messaged Pui to ask for help, and she immediately said she’d look into it. She was able to arrange rooms and support until we can get back to Cyprus. Pui, you’re a star. We’ll see you today as we return from Bangkok airport. That’s truly above and beyond service. Big thanks, Pete & Jane. We’d just finished a wonderful two-week stay at The Standard in Hua Hin. The hotel is beautiful, right on the beach, with amazing views and close enough to town for a night out. Breakfast was great, the pool area was chilled and comfortable, and there was a nice DJ and happy hour for an early evening beer. The restaurant was great too. Our room was very clean, and the beds were especially comfortable. We booked a twin and got two double beds, which we loved. What really stood out was the service. We stayed last year too and got such a lovely welcome from the reception team, which made us feel part of the family. There were smiles throughout this visit and they made us feel special. Pui has an amazing front-of-house team, and deserves a special mention for helping us rebook for 2027.

The rooms were comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and full of natural light. I also loved the modern-retro look mixed with a laid-back beach feel, and the restaurant on the property was excellent. Service was warm and attentive without being too much, and everything went smoothly from check-in through activity bookings. The programming was a highlight: poolside yoga was calm and well paced, Thai boxing is offered on some days, and the gym is properly equipped. The spa and massage were genuinely relaxing, while the Mud Lounge brought a playful, unusual touch. A nicely balanced stay with wellness, design, and just enough fun. Happy guests!

The villas are spacious, quiet, and private, with private pools. The resort is fully dog friendly, with treats and dog ice cream, and dogs can access the café and beach bar too. The beachfront is beautiful, with miles of walkable shoreline, and several nearby amenities are within walking distance. The grounds are immaculate and the service is excellent. Resort Manager Constant Wormser (Swiss) leads a strong, welcoming team. A wonderful beach resort in The Standard hotels style, like the ones in BKK and Miami, with Phuket coming in late 2026. Our top resort choice in HuaHin 🙏🏻

The staff were attentive, warm, and friendly, and their care with the details made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay and loved the hotel’s atmosphere. Thanks to the team for making it memorable. We look forward to coming back.
