Grand Beach Condominium (Room. B26)

This is a condo with several units available for rent. The rooms are a bit old, as you’d expect, but they have useful amenities like kitchen equipment and a spacious balcony. Choose a higher floor for the best sea view. There’s also a rooftop pool with a beautiful ocean view. The rooms are fairly quiet, although you can sometimes hear evening traffic from the nearby road. Soundproofing isn’t great. Check-in was a little difficult since there’s no reception desk, so you need to arrange it through Agoda chat or ask at the restaurant nearby.

The studio apartment is reasonably priced, at 15,000 baht per month in high season, and comes with a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, stove, living room with sofa, table and chairs, plus a separate bedroom with closet and balcony. It’s an excellent condominium, with the sea across the street. There’s a rooftop pool, though it’s usually windy up there and there isn’t shade. The building has a cafe and shops with everything you need. The cafe "Fresh Start," run by Da', a Thai woman, and her American husband, Neil, is delicious and pleasant.

The room was decent, with good WiFi, strong water pressure, cool air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. The curtains didn’t fit the window properly, though, so a lot of light came in at night.

A lovely spot for relaxing, with a beautiful, clean beach and amenities close by.
