T Villas Kaeng Khoi

The breakfast was awful for the price: very little variety or quantity, instant coffee, margarine instead of butter, plain white bread with a broken toaster, and a few Thai dishes. Dinner was disappointing too. The staff were busy and repeatedly got our order wrong, whether we called to place it or check on it, and nobody seemed to care. We booked directly after seeing social media ads for a honeymoon, but nobody told us the resort was partly under renovation, including rooms, the restaurant, and some villas. When we arrived, there was no sign for reception, so we had to wander around asking people. The staff weren’t helpful, just standing by the buggy while we carried our bags. Our villa, T116, was dusty, with two dirty flip-flops by the bedroom. The bathroom smelled of urine throughout our stay. The doorbell was upside down, and it felt like nobody had looked after the small details. By the pool, the wooden chairs were nearly broken and unusable, and there was steel wool nearby. The bathroom sink was clogged, its tap was broken, and the shower floor was moldy and smelly. The internet was down after we returned to the villa. LINE was the only contact method, but no one replied, and staff kept giving excuses instead of fixing it. The router outside our villa was broken and there wasn’t a spare. We don’t feel the stay was worth what we paid, and wouldn’t recommend this resort to friends or family.
