A great stop if you're travelling through. You can even work out at the professional gym at JAX gym.

We've come back since our earlier stays. The place still has a lovely feel, lots of trees and shade, a calm setting, roomy rooms, free WiFi, and friendly, capable staff, and I'd recommended it before. This time, though, some very noisy Thais were in at least three rooms. They had to be called on by the authorities after 23h00, but the noise started again at 06h00, as though the place belonged to them. We were in our usual room and found the rotten rear window still hadn't been replaced. The shower head was completely blocked, so no water came out when the tap was opened. It's a classic case of mismanagement, common all over Thailand. You might get a quiet night and maybe even a shower, but I'd suggest trying somewhere else now.
