Kaengkachan Lake Hill Resort

Clean and quiet, with lovely owners who are really helpful. It's a great base for a visit to the national park, and I'd definitely recommend it. For a longer stay, book directly with the owners. One bit of advice: bring your own vehicle. There isn't much else within walking distance, and although there's a restaurant about 400 meters south, dogs along the way run at you barking loudly. Walking around in the dark is uncomfortable too, with cars going very fast. We came and left by taxi, but I wish we'd rented a car or motorbike.

The bed was comfortable, the room was cleaned regularly, and the Wi-Fi worked well. They have friendly dogs too, which is a nice bonus. The main drawback is how far it is from the park. Still, I’d recommend staying here.

It’s a beautiful, quiet place close to the great national park, and a real escape from everything. Moo, the host, is fantastic. There’s a good restaurant 800 meters away, but you’ll need a car if you’re staying longer. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at the resort for six nights and loved it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the garden was lovely, and the owner was fabulous.
